Leo Valenti

Leo Valenti is a queer fine artist and illustrator based in Glasgow. Leo’s work explores the human psyche, focussing on how relationships are formed. Being a trans man, Leo is fascinated with how your perception of yourself can be completely different from how you are perceived by others.

Mixed media is a key in Leo’s work, he doesn’t want to limit himself in what mediums he uses and loves to layer and create texture. Ink and collage are prominent in Leo’s art. Leo is also the founder of Gravis, an open dialogue workshop exploring the theme of grief and death through the catharsis of creating art.
