Brody Mace-Hopkins

Brody Mace-Hopkins (They/Them) is a multi-media artist who graduated with a 1st class honours degree from Sculpture at Camberwell College of the Arts in 2020. Specialising in performance, costume, video, sculpture and painting, Brody utilises these elements to create a form of world building. Within their practice they use fantastical narratives derived from mythology, human and natural history to 're-construct' the world with queer, ecological and anarchic values at its core.

Brody uses primarily bio-degradable, found and/or organic materials to create fantastical creatures and monsters as allegories for trauma and resistance experienced by those who are often othered by societal norms and constructs.
