My artistic philosophy is often centered around the rekindling and subsequent preservation of our ability to re-connect with the increasingly elusive childhood spirit. To push past societal indoctrination of the need to be ‘adult’ and to live in the present - even if for a moment. An ability children are inherently able to tap into, it allows them to live in a world of wonder where everything can be something and fascination can be derived from even the most mundane of things. Somewhere along the journey to adulthood, we lose sight of this ability. My work aims to ignite that spark of curiosity and to fan the embers of wonder through the exposure of tales of my imagination.
