Isla Morgan

Isla graduated in fine art from Duncan of Jordanstone Collage of Art and Design in 2021. She is a
contemporary feminist mixed media artist. Currently, her practice uses nude self-portraiture
photography to explore feminist topics. Through her work, she wants to highlight behaviours that
undermine women. She is interested in nuances of feminism and misogyny and aims to capture gaze
that is more complex and multi-dimensional than the traditional heterosexual male gaze. Isla wants
to represent and stand for women today, to challenge inequality, harassment, and violence.
Through her gaze, she aims to show women their strength.
