Lillian Ross-Millard

Lillian Ross-Millard is a Scotland-based performance and video artist, and recently completed an MFA at the Glasgow School of Art (2020). Her process-based practice involves physical research methods adapted from devised theatre. She explores symptomatic relationships between labour conditions and habitual movements of the body.

Parodying the scientific, the process is ultimately poetic, and is designed to remap the meanings and narratives we subconsciously assign to our daily gestures and choreographies. She bring lyrical expression to these findings in the form of video works as deconstructed performances.
