Tim Kirman

Tim is an award winning visual artist based on the outskirts of Glasgow where they studied BA (hons) in Contemporary Art Practice at the City of Glasgow College. Their work specialises in a range of media including glass, print, photography, and film. Their practice is derived from the role of memories and childhood, typically as a means of expression for the individual, group, and the wider context of society. Memories are reimagined from both implicit and expected forms. Captivated by the sense of importance placed upon our memories and childhood they emphasise the sense of belonging that connects us to them but also the futility as inevitably the memories will be lost in the fullness of time.
