WASPS Winter Market 2023 - OPEN CALL

We are excited to announce SaltSpace has secured a stall as part of WASPS Spring Market 2023! We are putting a call out to members who would like to sell work on our SaltSpace stall! You will join stall holders at the Briggait in Glasgow over the weekend on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December 2023.

We ask for a small fee of £10 for the two days to go towards stall hire and the work involved in bringing this together but will be charging 0% commission on all items sold.

We are looking for a wide range of work from ceramics, print, jewellery, apparel, prints, drawings, cards and paintings! Due to the nature of the market, we'd ask that all items are £50 or less.

 

2D should be no larger than 40x40cm ~ 3D should be no larger than 20x20cm

ARTIST AGREEMENT
WASPS WINTER MARKET

Please review and sign the following terms & conditions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

1. Insurance.

Artists are responsible for insuring their own work. All works accepted for the event will be displayed entirely at the artists' risk and the organisers will not accept liability for loss or damage occurring during the event. The participating venues do so at their own risk and the organisers will not accept liability for loss or damage occurring during the event.

2. Delivery and Collection.

Artists are responsible for delivery and collection of their own work. Work not collected by the agreed times will be disposed of.

 

3. Representation, Documentation and Promotion. 

3.1 - The Artist agrees to provide a biography/artist statement, information regarding their contribution and a selection of images on request, to Saltspace for use in promotional materials, and for other marketing purposes at Saltspace’s discretion. 

3.2 – Artists must supply their own fixings for work to be hung.  

3.3 - Saltspace reserves the right to record/document the artists contribution. This includes photographs, video and or audio recordings. 

3.4 - Saltspace further reserves the right to use recordings/documentation in Saltspace’s  possession solely for promotional purposes, including online publicity, without seeking  permission of the artist. Copyright of this material shall remain with the Gallery. The Artist can  retain a copy on request and be free to use it for his or her own professional promotion/development.

4. Cancellation policy.

Artist must pay the table fee of £10 by 27th November. If the artist cancels after 27th November the artist does not receive a refund. This is in place so artists provide adequate commitment and SaltSpace has enough time to find a replacement.

 

I have read and understood these terms and conditions and by submitting this application I accept and agree to observe all the Terms And Conditions therein.

AN AGREEMENT made in Glasgow between SaltSpace Cooperative (hereafter referred to as  SaltSpace) and

(here in after referred to as the artist).
