SaltSpace Gallery originally opened on High St and is now in the Axiom Building, situated in central Glasgow along the River Clyde, a five minute walk from Anderston train station and a 10 minute walk from Central Station.

Since 2019 we have given hundreds of early career artists the opportunity to exhibit with us and experiment with their professional practice. The gallery has rolling exhibitions from members, residency exhibitions and also shows from charities and local organisations.

Please note - we are currently relocating gallery to a new venue on Albert Road in the Southside of Glasgow

Our next open call will run from January 1st - 31st for the dates of March 1st - June 30th.

At Saltspace we have organised and facilitated a number of residencies since 2019, some are annual and some stand-alone. Each residency is custom built, but will typically award an artist with one of our studio spaces, an artist fee and culminate in an exhibition at our gallery space.
